Who is Eleazar in the Bible?
Eleazar was the son of Abinadab, a man consecrated to guard the ark of God in Kiriath-jearim (1 Samuel 7:1). After the Philistines captured and then returned the ark of the covenant, it was brought to Abinadab's house, where Eleazar was set apart for the sacred duty of protecting this most holy object. Biography
