Who is Hanani in the Bible?

Hanani was a priest in ancient Judah who participated in the dedication ceremony of Jerusalem's rebuilt wall, as recorded in Nehemiah 12:36. After the completion of the wall under Nehemiah's leadership, the priests and Levites were organized into two processions that walked in opposite directions on top of the wall while choirs sang and played instruments to celebrate God's faithfulness.
