Father of Meshullemeth, wife of King Manasseh.

Who is Haruz in the Bible?

Haruz was the father of Meshullemeth, who became the wife of King Manasseh of Judah (2 Kings 21:19). He is mentioned only briefly in Scripture in connection with his daughter's marriage to one of Judah's most notoriously wicked kings. Through Meshullemeth, Haruz became the grandfather of King Amon, who succeeded Manasseh on the throne. Though Haruz himself is not described in detail, his family's connection to the royal lineage places him within the significant political and spiritual struggles of Judah's later monarchy.
