Who is Jeuel in the Bible?
Jeuel was a descendant of Adonikam who returned to Jerusalem from Babylonian exile with Ezra (Ezra 8:13). He is briefly mentioned in the biblical account as one of the men who accompanied Ezra on his journey back to Jerusalem during the reign of King Artaxerxes of Persia. Though little is known about Jeuel personally, his inclusion in Ezra's returning company demonstrates the restoration of the Jewish community after exile and the fulfillment of God's promise to bring His people back to their homeland.
