Jeuzיְעוּץ
A descendant of Shaharaim from the tribe of Benjamin
Who is Jeuz in the Bible?
Jeuz was a son of Shaharaim, a member of the tribe of Benjamin, mentioned in 1 Chronicles 8:10. He was born to Shaharaim in the country of Moab after his father had divorced his wives Hushim and Baara. Though Jeuz appears only briefly in the genealogical records of Benjamin, his inclusion in the tribal lineage preserves the family history of the Benjamites during a period when some of Israel's people were dwelling in Moab.
