Who is Mattithiah in the Bible?

Mattithiah was a Levite who lived during the post-exile period under Ezra and Nehemiah. He assisted the priest Ezra in reading the Book of the Law aloud to the gathered people of Jerusalem, standing on the platform beside Ezra as recorded in Nehemiah 8:4. Biography
