Where is Allammelech in the Bible?

Allammelech was a town in ancient Israel that was allotted to the tribe of Asher during the division of the Promised Land, as recorded in Joshua 19:26. Located in the northern region of Canaan, this settlement fell within Asher's territorial inheritance along the Mediterranean coastal plain. While Allammelech is mentioned only briefly in Scripture as part of the boundary descriptions for Asher's territory, it represents one of the cities given to this tribe following the conquest of Canaan under Joshua's leadership. The exact modern location of Allammelech is uncertain, though it was situated somewhere in what is now northern Israel.
