Where is Bene-berak in the Bible?

Bene-berak was a town located in the territory allotted to the tribe of Dan in ancient Israel, as recorded in Joshua 19:45. The town was situated in the coastal plain region of what is now central Israel, near present-day Tel Aviv. While Bene-berak appears only briefly in biblical records, its mention in Joshua's description of tribal land divisions is significant for understanding how the Promised Land was distributed among the twelve tribes of Israel. The site represents one of the many settlements that comprised Dan's inheritance during the period of Israel's initial occupation of Canaan.
