Where is Beth-pazzez in the Bible?
Beth-pazzez was a town located within the territory allotted to the tribe of Issachar in ancient Israel, as recorded in the Book of Joshua. The town is mentioned only once in Scripture, in Joshua 19:21, as part of the list of cities belonging to Issachar's inheritance in the Promised Land. Scholars believe Beth-pazzez was situated in the region near modern-day Jenin in the West Bank, placing it in the fertile valleys of northern Canaan. While Beth-pazzez receives only a brief mention in biblical history, it represents one of many towns distributed among the Israelite tribes during the settlement period, contributing to the broader narrative of God's division of the Promised Land among His people.
