Where is Bezer in the Bible?
Bezer was a Levitical city of refuge located in the territory of Reuben, east of the Jordan River in what is now Jordan. Designated as one of six cities of refuge under Israelite law, Bezer provided protection for those who had committed accidental manslaughter (Deuteronomy 4:43, Joshua 20:8). The city was also assigned to the Levites of the Merari clan as a place of residence (Joshua 21:36, 1 Chronicles 6:63,78). Scholars have identified Bezer with Bozrah, a fortress city mentioned in connection with Moab (Jeremiah 48:24), though the exact modern location remains uncertain.
