Where is Ebez in the Bible?

Ebez was a town in ancient Israel that was allotted to the tribe of Issachar during the division of the Promised Land, as recorded in Joshua 19:20. Located in the northern part of Canaan in the region that would become the territory of Issachar, Ebez is also mentioned in connection with Jephthah's military campaigns in Judges 12:8-10. Beyond these biblical references, very little is known about the town, and its exact modern location remains uncertain. The town appears to have been a minor settlement in Israel's tribal territories during the period of the judges, though it holds minimal theological significance in the biblical narrative.
