Where is En-hakkore in the Bible?

En-hakkore is a spring mentioned in the Book of Judges that was located in the region of Lehi, in what is now the territory of ancient Judah. According to Judges 15:19, after Samson defeated a thousand Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey, God miraculously provided this spring to quench his thirst when he was exhausted and dying of thirst. The name "En-hakkore" means "the spring of the one who called" or "the spring of the partridge," referring to God's response to Samson's desperate cry for help. While the spring is known to have been in Lehi, its exact location remains unknown to scholars today. This episode demonstrates God's provision and care for Samson during his exploits against the Philistines, highlighting the divine power working through Israel's judge.
