Where is Hadashah in the Bible?
Hadashah was a town located in the Shephelah, the low hill country between the coastal plain and the Judean highlands, and was allotted to the tribe of Judah according to Joshua 15:37. This biblical reference appears in the list of cities given to Judah during the division of the Promised Land among the Israelite tribes. The exact location of Hadashah has not been definitively identified by modern scholars, making it one of the lesser-known towns in Judah's territory. Its mention in Scripture reflects the comprehensive allocation of land to the tribe of Judah as they settled in Canaan after the exodus from Egypt.
