Where is Jehud in the Bible?

Jehud was a town in ancient Israel located east of Jaffa in the coastal region of Canaan. According to Joshua 19:45, it was allotted as an inheritance to the tribe of Dan during the initial division of the Promised Land among the Israelite tribes. Though Jehud appears only briefly in the biblical record, its assignment to Dan reflects the geographical boundaries and territorial claims of this tribe in the coastal plains of ancient Israel. The site's location in Dan's territory made it part of the northern boundary of Judah's neighboring tribal lands.
