Where is Nezib in the Bible?
Nezib was a town located in the lowland region of Judah, allocated to the tribe of Judah during the division of Canaan recorded in the book of Joshua. Situated approximately 7 miles from Eleutheropolis (ancient Beit Jibrin) on the road toward Hebron, Nezib served as one of the territorial settlements that defined Judah's inheritance in the Promised Land. The site is identified today with Beit Nasib, a village containing ancient archaeological remains located about 2 miles southwest of Khirbet Kila (biblical Keilah). Though Nezib is mentioned primarily in the context of territorial allotments, it represents the practical administration of the land division that established Judah's boundaries in the southern Levant.
