Where is Ramoth in the Bible?

Ramoth, also called Ramoth-gilead, was a city of refuge located in the region of Gad, east of the Jordan River in ancient Israel. Designated as both a city of refuge and a Levitical city (Deuteronomy 4:43; Joshua 20:8; 21:38), Ramoth served an important role in Israel's religious and legal system by providing sanctuary for those accused of unintentional manslaughter. The city appears throughout biblical narratives in connection with various military campaigns and conflicts, particularly during the period of the divided monarchy. Modern scholars identify Ramoth-gilead with er-Rameh, located approximately 11 miles southwest of Jenin in the West Bank region.
