Where is Taralah in the Bible?
Taralah was a town in ancient Israel that was allotted to the tribe of Benjamin during the conquest and division of the land under Joshua (Joshua 18:27). Located in the central highlands of Canaan, in the territory that became the tribal possession of Benjamin, Taralah's exact modern location is unknown. By the time of early Christian scholars like Eusebius and Jerome in the fourth century, the site had already been lost to history. Though Taralah appears only once in the biblical record, it represents one of the many towns distributed to Benjamin as part of God's division of the promised land among the twelve tribes of Israel.
