Where is Ziddim in the Bible?
Ziddim was a fortified city located in the territory of Naphtali in northern Israel, situated northwest of Tiberias near the gorge that opens toward the Sea of Galilee. The city is mentioned in the book of Joshua as one of the fortified cities allocated to the tribe of Naphtali during the division of the Promised Land. Its location near the traditional Mount of the Beatitudes places it in a region of significant biblical and spiritual importance. Though little is known about specific events that occurred there, Ziddim represents the network of fortified settlements that helped establish Israelite control in the northern territories during the conquest period.
