Male Tribe of Levi H0461H 2 books

Son of Moses and Zipporah.

Who is Eliezer in the Bible?

Eliezer was the second son of Moses and Zipporah, born during Moses' exile in Midian (Exodus 18:4). His name, meaning "my God is help," was given by Moses to commemorate God's deliverance from Pharaoh's sword. While the Bible records little about Eliezer's personal life or ministry, he appears in the Levitical genealogies as the father of Rehabiah, whose descendants are noted in 1 Chronicles 23:17 and 26:25. Though Eliezer himself remains a minor figure in biblical narrative, his lineage is significant within the genealogical record of the Levites, establishing his place in Moses' family legacy.
