Where is Adithaim in the Bible?

Adithaim was a town located in the Shephelah, the low hill country between the coastal plain and the Judean highlands, and was allotted to the tribe of Judah during the settlement of Canaan. The town is mentioned in the Book of Joshua as part of the territorial divisions given to Judah after the Israelite conquest. Some biblical scholars believe Adithaim may be the same place as Adida, though this identification remains uncertain. While little is recorded about specific events at Adithaim itself, its inclusion in Joshua's territorial records demonstrates its significance as part of Judah's inheritance in the promised land.
