Aram-maacah was an Aramean kingdom that allied with the Ammonites against David.

Where is Aram-maacah in the Bible?

Aram-maacah was an ancient Aramean kingdom located in the region of Syria, to the northeast of Canaan in biblical times. This territory appears in the Old Testament primarily in connection with military conflicts during the reign of King David, most notably when Aram-maacah allied with the Ammonites and other neighboring kingdoms to oppose David's forces. The kingdom represented one of several Aramean states that existed during the Iron Age, competing for power and influence in the ancient Near East. Though relatively minor in biblical narrative, Aram-maacah illustrates the complex web of alliances and conflicts that characterized the region during Israel's early monarchy.
