Where is Gebim in the Bible?

Gebim was a town located in the territory of Benjamin, in the region northeast of Jerusalem in ancient Israel. The place appears only in Isaiah 10:31, where the prophet describes the advancing route of the Assyrian army as it approaches Jerusalem during a threatened military campaign. Based on its mention alongside Anathoth in Isaiah's prophecy, scholars believe Gebim was situated south of Anathoth and to the northeast of Jerusalem. Though little else is known about this settlement, its inclusion in Isaiah's prophecy underscores the vulnerability of Judah's northern territories to foreign invasion and serves as part of the prophet's warning about Assyrian military expansion during the late 8th century BC.
