Where is Horem in the Bible?

Horem was a fortified city located in the territory of Naphtali in ancient Israel, as recorded in Joshua 19:38. The city is mentioned during the biblical account of land distribution among the twelve tribes following the conquest of Canaan. Based on scholarly research, Horem is believed to correspond to a mound at the southern end of Wadi el-Ain, west of the city of Qedes in what is now northern Israel. While Horem receives only brief mention in Scripture, its designation as a fortified city suggests it served an important defensive role in the tribal territory of Naphtali during the period of settlement.
