Where is Jagur in the Bible?

Jagur was a town located in the Negev region of southern Judah, as listed among the cities of Judah in Joshua 15:21. The Negev was a semi-arid area in the southern part of ancient Israel, known for its sparse settlements and pastoral landscape. While Jagur is mentioned only briefly in biblical records, it appears in the administrative lists of Judahite cities, indicating it held some significance in the territorial organization of the tribe of Judah during the period of settlement in Canaan. The exact modern location of Jagur remains uncertain, though it would have been situated in what is now the southern part of Israel.
