Where is Jericho_Valley in the Bible?

The Jericho Valley is located in the Jordan River valley in ancient Palestine, in what is now the West Bank territory. It was the site of the ancient city of Jericho, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, which is mentioned in Deuteronomy 34:3 as Moses viewed the Promised Land from Mount Nebo before his death. The valley holds profound theological significance in biblical history as the location where the Israelites, under Joshua's command, achieved their first major military victory in Canaan by conquering the fortified city. This conquest marked the beginning of Israel's settlement in the land God had promised to Abraham and his descendants.
