Where is Lahmam in the Bible?

Lahmam was a city located in the lowlands of Judah during the time of the ancient Israelites. It is mentioned in the Book of Joshua (15:40) as one of the towns allocated to the tribe of Judah during the division of the Promised Land. Though little is recorded about specific events occurring in Lahmam itself, its inclusion in Joshua's list of Judahite cities reflects the geographical organization of Israel's tribal territories in the lowlands, an important agricultural region west of the central Judean highlands. The exact modern location of Lahmam remains uncertain, though it would have been situated somewhere in the southern coastal plains of ancient Judah.
