Where is Madmannah in the Bible?

Madmannah was a town located in the Negev region of southern Judah, mentioned in the biblical books of Joshua and 1 Chronicles. The town appears in Joshua 15:31 and 19:5 as one of several settlements in Judah's territorial allotment, and is sometimes identified with Beth-marcaboth in the same region. Modern scholars have proposed the site of Umm Deimneh, located approximately 12 miles north of Beersheba, as the likely location of ancient Madmannah based on linguistic evidence. The town is mentioned alongside other Negev settlements like Hormah and Ziklag, placing it within a strategically important region of ancient Judah.
