Where is Zalmonah in the Bible?

Zalmonah was a campsite of the Israelites during their wilderness wanderings after the exodus from Egypt. Located in the region between Mount Hor and Punon, it appears in the biblical account in Numbers 33:41-42 as one of the stations the Israelites occupied on their journey toward Canaan. This encampment lay along the route leading up to the Edomite plateau, in the general area of modern-day Jordan. While Zalmonah itself is not the site of any major biblical events or divine encounters recorded in Scripture, its inclusion in the wilderness itinerary reflects God's guidance and provision for the Israelites throughout their forty-year journey in the desert.
