One who sealed the covenant with Nehemiah.

Who is Malluch in the Bible?

Malluch was a Jewish leader who lived during the time of Nehemiah and is mentioned in Nehemiah 10:27 as one of the signatories to the covenant renewal ceremony. This covenant represented a solemn commitment by the people of Israel to obey the Law of Moses, maintain the sanctity of the Sabbath, and support the temple and its service. By affixing his name to this agreement, Malluch joined other leaders and community members in publicly pledging their loyalty to God's commands during a critical period of spiritual restoration in post-exilic Jerusalem. His participation in this covenant demonstrates the communal nature of religious commitment and the role of leaders in calling people back to covenantal faithfulness.
