Who is Nethanel in the Bible?

Nethanel was one of the sons of Obed-Edom, a Levite mentioned in 1 Chronicles 26:4. His father, Obed-Edom, had been greatly blessed by God when the ark of the covenant remained in his household, as recorded in 2 Samuel 6:11. Following his father's example, Nethanel served as a Levite alongside his brothers, participating in the religious and ceremonial duties of Israel's worship. His lineage represents the continuation of faithful service among the Levitical families who maintained the temple worship and cared for the sacred objects of Israel's faith.

Biography

Nethanel was one of the sons of Obed-Edom who was a Levite (1Ch.26.4). His father Obed-Edom had been blessed by God when the ark of the covenant stayed at his house (2Sa.6.11). Nethanel would have served as a Levite along with his brothers.
