James says the prophets' words agree with the report about God gathering a people from the Gentiles, then quotes the prophetic passage.
Acts also describes a couple agreeing to test the Spirit through a false account of their sale. Jesus promises the Father's answer when two agree in asking, within teaching that names witnesses, the church and gathering in His name. Agreement is therefore not automatically righteous or a guarantee that any shared demand controls God. Read the participants, terms and context.
Matching cloth, agreed payment, scriptural correspondence and a harmful conspiracy require different explanations rather than one general celebration of unity.

Agreement is a relationship between specified things or people. The vineyard parable states a wage and later recalls the workers' own agreement while exposing their response to generosity. James joins a reported divine action concerning Gentiles to quoted prophetic words rather than merely counting votes. Acts gives a sharply different evaluation when Peter asks about an agreement to test the Spirit through deception.
Luke even uses the verb for cloth that does not match an old garment. Matthew's prayer promise belongs within Jesus' teaching about witnesses, the church and gathering in His name, so it should be quoted honestly and read there rather than marketed as a technique for controlling outcomes.
